Let’s be very clear about something - I LOVE skincare, and I have spent an unreasonable amount of time curating my skincare routine. Fortunately, my precious time (and money) loss is your gain, because I believe I have found the best skincare products on the face of this planet (there may be some better products on a different planet, it’s a possibility), and I am going to share them with you. Before I get into listing these glorious products, let me first explain my skin type, and how I figured out what it needed.

My skin fits into two traditional skincare categories, “combination” and “sensitive”. Combination means that the skin is both oily and dry in different places, and sensitive means that the skin has an allergic reaction to anything and everything that touches it. Because of these facial factors I look for products with simple ingredients that are calming and not too heavy. Everyone has their own skin type so I recommend figuring out yours to find the products that will work best. That being said, because of my insanely sensitive skin, pretty much all the products I use and love will work on any face/body without irritation.

My skincare routine is rarely exactly the same every night. I’m a big believer in listening to what your skin is telling you. If it seems super irritated, throw some aloe on it, and give it a break from all the products, if it seems dry put on a moisturizing mask and some oils, if it’s oily and breaking out use a clay mask, light moisturizers, and pimple patches, etc. If you pay close attention to what sets off your skin then you’ll be able to find the solution faster.
